Tweety and the Magic Jewel Preview
Visually, TMJ doesn’t look like there is much to look forward to. Nothing over-the-top, and nothing never-before-seen is being attempted with the visuals.
The story has something to do with Tweety turning into stone. To avoid this from happening, the characters from Looney Tunes have to set out on a mission around the world to uncover 5 magical jewels. It looks extremely similar to Mario Party, besides the fact that you’re looking for jewels instead of stars. The main object is to move around a board and find the jewels.
You have the choice to either play by yourself or with a friend. There are some random mini games that are based on 4 players, and if you’ve played Mario Party, you’ll know that the mini games are much more fun with a friend instead of a couple computer players. Something about the link cable doesn’t work right, so you and your friend(s) all need a copy of the game, which probably isn’t the best thing to happen to a game that is so dependant on its multiplayer mode.
My first impressions of the game are don’t waste your time and money. If you want a party game, there are several more out there that are of higher quality than this one. But if you want to try it out, I’d suggest renting it first.
