When you think of Nintendo, what do you think of? I bet 95% of you think of Mario, snd that’s a good thing. Without Mario, Nintendo wouldn’t have been as successful as they wanted to be. Mario changed games forever. He has appeared on all of the Nintendo consoles and the Game Boy and has been amazing. Now, he will appear on the greatest console yet… the Nintendo Gamecube!

Nintendo has almost always supplied us with eye candy graphics. Seeing Mario on N64 was amazing. Seeing him on Gamecube could be priceless! Think about it. Bowser smashing down and stuff and shockwaves going everywhere. Mario using cool moves trying to blow up bad guys. It’s all good.

Most Mario games include a challenge. If this game has some great challenging puzzles or missions, you’ll be playing your life out on it. You will keep coming back and trying to conquer this one level or nab this one item. That’s what gives Mario games their unique touch, the replay value. You’ll always want to keep playing it and trying to find out unique secrets.

[Starts to drool] Oh, sorry, I was just thinking about Mario with Internet Capabilities. Imagine you and your best friend get this game. You control Mario, and he is Yoshi. Imagine having a multiplayer battle with them! If Gamecube does have a modem, they better allow this game to use it to the max. What would be so good about it? You can battle all your friends with your favorite characters, collect lots of stuff, put your high scores on a list, and more.

The sound has always been tremendous in Mario games, and you’ll be humming the tunes long into the night. Mario always has those funky beats to keep your feet stomping. Plus, if you punch or kick, you hear that too. With all of Gamecube’s superior sound cards, the sound will blow you away!

Mario Cubed might possibly feature a whole bunch of new things, such as being able to ride Yoshi, playing as Luigi, and maybe having Bowser on your side! It’s all possible, which is the good part. The only major question raised is “will Mario still always have to save Peach?”
