Sony's PSX (PS2˝)

NOTE: Media (photos of the PSX console) is missing

Meet Sony’s PSX: It’s a PS2, PSOne, Tivo, and DVD Recorder in One! Recording can go on while playing a game, and the unit comes with all the luxuries of Tivo, including either a 120 GB Hard Drive (which belongs in the unit priced at approximately $718) or the 250 GB Hard Drive (whose house costs a mere $882.)

The System is pearly white, and comes with a white PSX dual shock 2 which is not compatible with PS2s, and a white controller that allows you to do everything… even stop a game (not pause… stop, so even if you’re in the middle of a cutscene, you can just stop the game to be resumed whenever you like.) Neither the remote nor controller are compatable with the PS2 or PSOne, but dual shock 2’s should be compatable with the PSX…

Why is this on a GameCube Site? It’s important gaming news, it’s a competitor to GameCube… Kind Of. At a Price of just under a thousand dollars, it’s very steep for the casual high school gamer, but for an adult with a gaming fetish, they’re golden with this. It’s also about half the price of similar models from competitors without the PS2 abilities. Don’t expect it to take a chunk out of GameCube’s sales, but it’s still cool…
