Retailers Still Advertise Bonus Discs
Whether or not your local BestBuy, CompUSA, Circuit City, Gamestop, EB, or Funcoland has the Ocarina of Time/Master Quest bonus disc in stock, they are still advertising it. In today’s ad for Circuit City and BestBuy, both still show that when you put down $15 for The Wind Waker, you’ll receive the limited edition OoT/MQ disc.
However, this may only be getting advertised because the chains have a few hundred left and want to get rid of their stock (which, even without the ad would be easy). Also, is it just me, or has Nintendo cut the “Preorder now and receive limited edition disc with Ocarina of Time and the never before released Master Quest” part out of their Wind Waker commercial? Hmm, maybe that’s just the shortened version.
Also, sources have told me that Amazon.com seems to not be having a problem keeping the disc in stock at all, though the preorder is #1 on their selling list, and can ship the OoT/MQ disc to you within 24 hours. Sweet beans!
Anyway, most major chains are still advertising this deal, so if you haven’t had a chance to pick the disc up head down to your local video game retailer and hope for the best. Or hit up the Amazon.com page for TWW right here.
