Online Play
Today, a revolution has started for Next Gen systems. Online gaming. Sony has now released it’s online play for the PS2, with GameCube’s coming out in October, and X-Box’s coming out in November. Is it possible that all 3 systems will be capable of playing 3rd party games together? Possibly, but in my perspective, it might not happen anytime soon.
Does all of this mean that Next Gen systems will dominate the PC online games? Probably not, since online PC games have been out for so liong, it’s going to get some getting used to with sitting in your living room without your buddies to talk to.
GameCube’s online adapter will cost a low price of 34.95 dollars. The game that the online adapter will come out with is Phantasy Star Online 1-2.
Let’s hope that the GC gets a head start on online play so that it will become as popular as pancakes.
