Megaton Releaved!
The megaton rumor has been dethroned and revealed. The announcement? A single game. Confused? I will enlighten. The megaton announcement was first published by the Japanese gaming magazine V-Jump – who hosts the V-Jump Festival –, and was said to boost the sales of the GameCube. What’s the game? The game appears to be based off a comic from the V-Jump magazine. North America and Europe probably won’t get this game.
I’m sure many people will be disappointed with this, as it thrashed everything that gamers expected. Rumors were floating around that Nintendo would buy Sega or Capcom, that Nintendo themselves would be bought out and that Final Fantasy among other games would make their way to the Cube. You don’t know how glad I am this has ceased to exist. Especially since now Matt won’t keep screaming “OMG IT IZ TEH MEGAT0N!!!111111” on IRC. Yay!
Just to let you know, I never beleived the stuff for a minute, as it was never confirmed by Nintendo.
