E3 Highlights

E3 has clearly demonstrated a huge line-up of upcoming games for NINTENDO GAMECUBE. Nintendo Australia expects over 90 games to be available by the end of this year. And with Nintendo of America expecting more than 150 games to be available in America by Christmas, there will also be heaps of new games that will keep coming to Australia in 2003. This huge level of third part game development and support has just never happened before! So NINTENDO GAMECUBE is definitely the platform to have in your home!

Retailers and media have heralded E3 as once again “The Nintendo Show”, with the industry legend showcasing its most impressive games line up ever.
As the doors opened at 10:00am, gamers clamored to the NINTENDO GAMECUBE interactive units to play the latest innovations, Metroid®Prime, Super Mario Sunshine™and Animal Crossing™, from the game giant himself, Mr Shigeru Miyamoto.
All the games were available, plus sneak previews of games yet to be completed. There were the previews of Nintendo’s online games, plus the new keyboard consoles and LCD screens.
Gamers were able to four-play against each other and Nintendo staff, while interactive units were available for all the major games on both NINTENDO GAMECUBE and Game Boy Advance.
Gamers were also linked via the exclusive Nintendo connectivity so the fun and skill of linking NINTENDO GAMECUBE and Game Boy Advance was available for all to see!
The stand was absolutely full of gamers, retailers and the media. The atmosphere was terrific and there was excitement for every type of gamer.

Fantastic news for Australian gamers announced today: 90 plus NINTENDO GAMECUBE titles by the end of 2002 in Australia.
300 plus Game Boy Advance titles by the end of 2002 in Australia.
The new delights of connectivity were demonstrated using Animal Crossing™.
Heaps of new games for all types of gamers -especially older gamers - Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem™, Resident Evil Zero and Metroid Prime were all demonstrated.
Roll-o-Rama motion sensor technology was demonstrated for Game Boy Advance. Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto demonstrated the WaveBird wireless game controller.
Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II online game from Sega will launch late this year in the USA.
Game Boy Advance new game titles included Metroid" Fusion, The Legend of Zelda" GBA, Yoshi’s Island™: Super Mario" Advance 3, Game Boy Gallery 5™ and Golden Sun™: The Lost Age.
NINTENDO GAMECUBE new game titles included Super Mario Sunshine™, Metroid® Prime, Resident Evil, Resident Evil Zero, Star Fox" Adventures and 1080o: White Storm™. For images check out Nintendo!
