Wavebird

Look Ma… No Wires

The Wavebird from Nintendo is different from every other wireless controller in so many ways. It’s the only first party wireless controller - ever. It’s the only controller to use RF rather then Infrared - ever. It’s the only wireless controller that looks and feels identical to the wired controller - ever.

Need More Advantages? Well on 2 AA batteries, you get about 100 hours of gameplay at a 20 foot range. Unless you’re playing in a United Artist, 20 feet is plenty. If you are worried about length though, you can go as far as 90 feet - try it - I did.

Concerning other things, It doesn’t have rumble. This is good, since that triple digit battery life; yeah that would drop to somewhere around 5 hours. NOT COOL. It’d kinda deform the back of it too.

Ease of use: With one controller, set each dial to 1 and plug them in. With two, use frequencies 1 and 9. Three controllers, you should go for 1, 5, and 10. Four Controllers? Use 1, 5, 9, and 13. Get It? Got It? Yay.

FInally, some precautions. Do not use with Wireless Phones, Cell phones, etc. You’ll get a staticcy conversation, and some screwy game results. Also, if gaming with a friend, think twice before switching your frequency to his and vise versa - he will get pissed. (The Previous precaution was tested seven times with 4 people and is completely correct.)

Overall though, pick a wavebird up. Maybe pick three up like I did! They’re well worth it, and are just as comfy as the normal conrollers.

And, oh yeah. Sorry for being so hyper. Just, yeah I feel hyper, so all the yeah’s, and questions, and bad references - sorry…
