About
Nintendo’s next generation system was mentioned at last years E3 in May. What had been rumored as Nintendo’s next generation system was indeed in development by Nintendo.
Dubbed “Dolphin” for the first phase, there was barely enough information to actually start a Gamecube website. Over the next few months, bits and pieces came together (with agonizing slowness) while Nintendo kept their lips tightly sealed. By then, the system’s name was dubbed “Star Cube”. Then actual good hard news became rare to find, and Gamecube was fueled by rumor and speculation. That is, until Spaceworld 2000, when the Nintendo finally made their next generation system, the Gamecube public. The world finally got a glimpse of Nintendo’s next system; and we we’re not disappointed. Since SW2K , Gamecube information has been coming in so fast, that starting in late November, I had to start updating almost every day to keep up with it! Besides the steady stream of news, we can only wait until E3 2001, when full developers and titles, plus a ton of more info is going to be released on Gamecube.
