Memory Card 251
After all the bashing Nintendo recieved for the Memory Card 59, they decided to release a memory card over 4 times the size of it. “It’s too small,” “I can’t even save Madden’s franchise mode!” The angry rants continued, and finally Nintendo listened.
The Memory Card 251 is a great device, especially for sports fans. Now you can actually play more than one game without not having to save. Although still a tad small, it proves to be worth its $19.99 price tag. I’ve saved up to 10 games so far, and with lots of room to spare. A good idea is to transfer all of your files from the Memory Card 59 onto the 251, and use the older one as a spare. Best of all there is no save corruption and it is built sturdy. I highly recommend the Memory Card 251 to all GameCube owners.
