Christmas List
Alright, this may have been released a tad bit late, but nonetheless, here are the Top 12 Games/Consoles for Christmas! This list is in no particular order.
PS2
Yes, the hot item this year has to be the PS2. Heck, it’s even getting news coverage; since it is almost impossible to find one. Just one word of advice; don’t trust those savvy internet dealers, people have been trying to sell them at 1000 dollars apiece!
Majora’s Mask
With almost a million units sold (900,000 to be exact), Nintendo is in the running to reach a benchmark one million games sold! Help out your favorite game company by buying this masterpiece of a game!
Tony Hawk 2 PS/PC
This game ranks as one of the best skateboarding game/games I’ve ever played! The replay value is endless, the special moves that are jaw-dropping amazing, and the in-depth create-a-skater and create-a-park is the best ever seen! Buy, buy!
Sega Dreamcast
You may be surprised to see that Sega made the list, but their online service is amazing! Where else can you go neck-2-neck with…anyone? The broadband is almost as fast as playing a regular game and there are hardly any problems with it!
Banjo Tooie
Ahh, the sequel that has the famous bird and bear taking their sequel to new heights! I wonder where the camel appears this time…
Unreal Tournament
The PC game of the year makes it’s debut on the DreamCast: Online! We can only expect greatness from a game like this, so come Christmas morning sit yer butt on your comp’ and play away!
NFL2K1
This is the best Football game on the market (even better than Madden for the PS2) , so if you have a Dreamcast, their is absolutely, positively no reason why you should not have this game!!! Did I mention you can also play it online?
NBA2K1
You may say that Sega is really hugging our list, but this game is really good! The first one was a bit of a flop, but this improves vastly on the first one; the sure sign of a great game (cough…Tony Hawk…cough). Visual Concepts has gained a great industry reputation for their two heavy hitters.
SSX
This game is about as good as any snowboarding game can get. The major difference is the range of movement. Most snowboarding games confine you to only the run, but SSX is…big! If you own a PS2, I strongly urge you (no physical force…yet) to buy this game! FIFA 2001 Major Soccer League If you are a “football” fan, and are dying for fantastic visuals that complement great gameplay, look no further than FIFA 2001. It’s what every PS2 owner should have.
Multitap
Multitaps are…like…totally…cool! Up to eight players can play simultaneously. Now imagine eight of your best friends playing against eight of someone else’s best friends across the ’net. Well, it may seem possible, once Sony implements their online service. Until then, ….
Dino Crisis 2
DC2 is actually pretty unique; never have you had to… shoot, shoot, shoot so much! There are a lot of dinosaurs to hunt down, and the background renders are pre’ cool!
And that is the end of the long Holiday Buyers Guide. If you actually read it all, then good for you! These are the best of the best games to come out this year, and you should own a couple of them…
